8th Meeting of the European Society of Veterianary and Comparative Nutrition

On behalf of the International and Local Organizing Committee we would like to invite you to take part in he 8th International Symposium of European Society of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition (ESVCN) which will be held in Budapest, Hungary, between 24-25 September 2004.

In 1996 the European Society of Veterinary Nutrition (ESVCN) has been founded, which formed his professional college in 1997 (European College of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition.) The later has been recognized in 1999 as member of the European Society of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ESVIM). In this way, the possibility of veterinary specialization became possible. The ESVCN has as mission "to increase interaction of European veterinary nutritionists, compare and harmonize veterinary nutrition education from basic to specialist level in Europe, advance applied and scientific veterinary nutrition".

The aim of this conference is to gather the specialists of the Animal and Veterinary Science, who are able to consider the entire animal and its environment as a whole, and follow the physiological events with and evolutionary and comparative view.

Here we invite animal scientists, vets and agricultural engineers of the practice, representative of the feed industry with both comparative and veterinary approaches studying nutritional aspects of the whole organisms, included the Man. Consequently, the food safety represents an important role.
